Practice of Consecutive & Conference Interpretation (Chinese, Farsi, Hindi)

This course is a professional course for bilingual speakers and oriental language learners Translation, facing the operational need of Interpreting for International Conferences on different business and international relations level. The course is taught by a professional interpreter & translator whose native language is Ukrainian to summarizing more than 15 years of non-stop practice in oriental languages interpretation.

In addition to the formal courses, there are also training tutorials and additional optional workshops, and at the same time, students are required to use the Internet and multimedia to conduct a large number of independent learning and group exercises. This course uses simulated interpretation training activities and simultaneous interpretation training techniques to provide all necessary technical support for high-intensity consecutive interpretation training.

This course is a sprint course before students take the EU Directorate-General for Interpreting, Senior Interpreter Certification and other exams, which are closely related to the EU Certification Exam. The course is perfectly suitable for students who have mastered the basic skills of consecutive interpreting and have mastered certain interpreting strategies and methods. Therefore, the course teaching philosophy, methods, and classroom activity design are fundamentally different from other similar courses, which have a great impact on improving the pass rate and performance of the certification exam.

The subjects of this course have undergone preliminary training in the basic skills of consecutive interpreting, have mastered the basic theories and principles of interpreting, and hope to acquire various cognitive and non-cognitive abilities required to enter the professional field of conference interpreting. The subject content of consecutive interpretation involves economic and finance, trade and investment, energy and climate, social and people’s livelihood, education and culture, diplomacy and international relations, urban and rural issues, legal issues, new technologies and other fields.
