‼️When it is necessary to immediately seek emergency help.
Modern ART clinics work efficiently and without complications, but ATTENTION, we still remind you..
The follicle puncture procedure is an outpatient procedure and is rarely accompanied by complications. Therefore, mild pain in the lower abdomen is not considered a dangerous condition. However, there are a number of symptoms that should alert you.
📌 Discharge from the genital tract with an unpleasant smell. Such a symptom may indicate the attachment of an infection.
📌Increasing abdominal pain that builds up over the course of several hours. May be a sign of intra-abdominal bleeding. The probability of this complication is especially high if the pain is combined with dizziness, a decrease in blood pressure, paleness of the skin and/or loss of consciousness.
📌Pains in the lower abdomen, nausea and vomiting, flatulence, decrease in blood pressure. Such signs may indicate the development of ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome (in the gonads, several follicles that reach larger sizes mature at the same time).
📌Abundant bloody discharge from the genital tract, which may indicate a serious vascular injury.
SOS AFTER PUNCTURE OF OVARIAN FOLLICLES
‼️In all these cases, you should immediately go to the clinic where the IVF protocol is performed, or to the emergency room/nearest hospital.
The woman needs dynamic monitoring and medical assistance. Most often, conservative treatment is enough.
