Many women complain of pain after a puncture. Let us find out the reason

🤓Why does the stomach hurt after a puncture
So, painful sensations in the lower abdomen after the puncture of follicles are caused by three main reasons.
✍️First of all, this is a direct injury to the upper third of the vaginal wall. For this reason, slight bloody discharge from the genital tract may appear, which will pass on its own after 1-2 days.
✍️Secondly, the pain is associated with the initial increase in pressure inside the ovary as a result of ovulation induction carried out the day before. The more follicles have matured and the larger their diameter, the stronger the discomfort.
✍️Thirdly, damage to ovarian tissue with a puncture needle inevitably leads to vascular injuries. Blood flows out and further increases the volume of the ovary. The capsule is stretched, as well as irritating the nerve endings located in it. Painful sensations of varying intensity appear.
Thus, non-acute pain after a puncture of egg retrieval is a variant of the norm.
