One little boy wrote on the blackboard:
“The soldier listens to Dao and walks diligently; the sergeant listens to Dao, if he survives; the corporal hears to Dao and laughs – not laughing would not be a good idea.”
This tells us: a person who stands firm, is positive and strives to change his life with action, he will quickly implement it when he hears good things. This is the soldier.
And some people will be half-hearted after hearing the truth. Say I was skeptical, did it for two days and didn’t do it then. After a while, I remembered that I did it for a few days and then forgot. This is the sergeant.
And even if the corporal hears a good reason, he will only develop a funny psychology, but never practice it.
Therefore, the choices in life are all determined by ourselves. When our hearts are not transformed, others cannot impose on us. Today we learn to open the door of the heart and open the closed door of Gonggao （high purpose) .
Otherwise, it is like a piece of wood and cannot absorb nutrients. The greatest effect of meditation is to let us take back the mind that is driving away. Our eyes, ears, nose, tongue, and body have been wandering in the outside world. When we see the good we like it, and when we see the bad, we resist; If it is easy to hear, the beautiful sound will float away, and if you hear bad words, the disharmonious sound will swell your whole body and give rise to anger.
Someone always says: “I saw light when I was meditating”. And someone answered: “Everything has light, but that light is covered by your troubles.”
When you meditate, your heart slowly becomes clear, and you can feel the bright and beautiful side of things. When you are full of troubles and filth inside, you will never feel the beauty of the world, and you will pollute the world with resistance and negative emotions.
When we get up in the morning, the birds are singing, the flowers are blooming, the wind is blowing, and the beauty of plants and trees is shown in front of us. Do we appreciate them with a heart of acceptance? When we see these scenes, does a kind of joy naturally arise in our hearts?
If not, there are too many troubles within you. In the evening, when the sun sets, the weary birds return to the forest, and everything restores its inherent tranquility. At this time, everyone who is full of Dharma joy also feels joy, and will not be disappointed by the disappearance of the light.
If your heart follows the four-hour cycle of the universe, you can naturally feel that spring, summer, autumn and winter, the sun and the sun, the cold and the heat, are all beautiful, and they are all worthy of admiration.
When I go home for dinner, I feel that the food is delicious. Remember to admire the cook; when you see your in-laws, father-in-law and mother-in-law, you have to care about them; you see the child’s father-in-law suffering. Cherish what you have now, and you will find that life is beautiful everywhere.
